Adding 13 feet to the building really makes it grow! HPIM0940.JPG (121440 bytes)
The spanner beam above the truss is a native 8"x8"x21' from the original bank barn. HPIM0943.JPG (119488 bytes)
#2 goes up... HPIM0944.JPG (149216 bytes)

#6 on its way... HPIM0955.JPG (174528 bytes)
The bottom of each truss needed to be stiffened with 2x10s for the trip to the top.  A couple of Buell straps worked great for this! HPIM0960.JPG (187264 bytes)
I'm sure Eric Buell would be proud of the new use of these straps. HPIM0961.JPG (182176 bytes)
#18, the last truss, goes up. HPIM0962.JPG (143936 bytes)
This one was extra heavy with the door supports and sheathing already installed on it. HPIM0963.JPG (145120 bytes)
2 feet to go...  HPIM0964.JPG (169792 bytes)
And by noon, the last truss was set... HPIM0966.JPG (148032 bytes)
and braced with the rest. HPIM0969.JPG (141984 bytes)
